Newegg Holiday Gift Guide

Every year, Newegg publishes a Holiday Gift Guide of tech gifts and ideas for the Holiday Season. In 2015, I designed their first ever responsive gift guide that showcase the curated items to specifically target the increase in mobile user traffic. Products were split into 4 major categories and the categories driven by lifestyle/editorial images.

One of the main features I wanted to deliver on this project was to create an ever-present navigation between the categories for the user. I created a navigation that floated right below the main hero image and would stick to the top of the page as you scroll down. This made it easy to browse between categories.

I did all wire-framing and mockup designs with Photoshop and coded the responsive framework from scratch with Dreamweaver (versus using an existing responsive framework) in order to deliver something as lightweight and customizeable as possible. Logo, copy and photos were provided.
